A recent occurrence demonstrated the effectiveness of the textyouhome® system at work.
A Housing Officer using the textyouhome® system was visiting a tenant when that tenant locked the door to the property and refused to let the her leave. This hostage situation was obviously disturbing for the Housing Officer, but she was able to trigger her panic alarm.
Within seconds, the alarm was raised to her managers, who were able to determine her location from the information provided by the textyouhome® alarm. Her managers involved the local police force, and together they arrived at the property to assist the Housing Officer. She was released from the property unharmed.
